It is incredible the impact one person can have and grow into something truly special. Student Healthcare Leaders is the brainchild of Dr. Terry Johnsson based on an experience he had in high school. Beulah Stevens, who worked at a major medical center, volunteered to introduce 15 year old Terry to the different areas of healthcare and encouraged him to consider healthcare as a career option. This experience planted the first seed for Student Healthcare Leaders.

Today, Dr. Terry is a healthcare executive and believes passionately in paying it forward by giving high school students an opportunity to explore the health care industry.
